Bloomin' Brands: Fully Bloomed At Current Levels

With consumer sentiment recently rising to levels not seen since 2007, the 'Restaurants' sector of the 'Services' industry is in an interesting place at the moment, particularly the casual dining segment. When consumers become comfortable spending more money it can negatively impact restaurants that emphasize cost to the consumer and positively impact companies that target a more affluent consumer base. However, the opposite is also true in that when consumers significantly cut back spending higher-end eating establishments can suffer while lower-end ones can thrive.
