Among the above, I consider automotive microcontrollers, in real terms, as the brain-parts of the car. They efficiently take information from sensors, and various other inputs, to make decisions. These are regarding spark timings, radio on/off, volume of fuel to shoot into the cylinder, window automation, and various others. In total, there are approximately 25 microcontrollers in every car. In other words, $75-worth sales are derived from every manufactured car.
