Tilly's Is An Overvalued Fad Retailer

Tilly's Inc (NYSE:TLYS) is a retailer of casual, "California Style" clothing, footwear and accessories for 15 to 24 year olds in the United States. The company's stores provide an assortment of private label brands as well as third party sourced merchandise; the two combined for a 30/70 split in sales last year, respectively. The company currently operates about 175 stores due to some aggressive building out of its retail footprint in recent years. The company has been public for just over a year and the stock has done a lot of bouncing around without actually going anywhere since the IPO.
