Compass Minerals International (CMP) is a producer of minerals like salt, sulfate of potash specialty fertilizer ("SOP") and magnesium chloride. Among other locations it owns and operates the largest rock salt mine in the world in Goderich, Ontario, Canada and the largest rock salt mine in the U.K. in Winsford, Cheshire. Furthermore the company's solar evaporation facility that is located in Ogden, Utah, is both the largest SOP production site and the largest solar salt production site in North America.
