Cramer's Lightning Round - Packaging Is on Fire (9/9/09)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Wednesday September 9.

Bullish Calls

XTO Energy (XTO): "I don't want to own the minors when it comes to natural gas...stick to the majors like XTO."

Crown Holdings (NYSE:CCK), International Paper (NYSE:IP), Temple Inland (NYSE:TIN), Bemis (NYSE:BMS): "I think it's got it together...I think it is a winner, you should buy it. I like Bemis, I like International Paper, I like Temple Inland. Packaging is on fire. The Bears just don't get it."

Potash (NYSE:POT)

Bearish Calls:

Brigham Exploration (BEXP): "I think that stock has had too much of a run."

Sequenom (NASDAQ:SQNM): "They missed it. They blew their main drug. If we are going to speculate, let's speculate wisely...not this one."

Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ:CLNE): "This is totally speculative. You need a major change in Washington to see a major change and see this go to $20...There is no reason to think it is going to be favored."

Andersons (NASDAQ:ANDE): " I recommended Andersons at the beginning of the move. It's had a run...get into Potash."
