Other than Linn Energy (LINE), BreitBurn Energy Partners (BBEP) was probably the most shorted upstream MLP out there, with one research firm even referring to the company as "Linn Energy junior." However, BreitBurn's stock has since recovered its losses and is now trading at where it was before. BreitBurn has also recently posted decent quarterly results and closed on a large accretive acquisition. BreitBurn currently offers a $0.48 per unit quarterly distribution and yields about 10.40%.
