For years, misbehaving and misunderstood securities have captivated investors, myself included. However, I must say that one obscure little trust may take the proverbial cake when it comes to unintentionally misleading investors. Whiting Trust I (WHX) seems, in every way, to be the "perfect" dividend investment having an average payout somewhere in the neighborhood of 35 to 40 percent… Unfortunately, in life when something seems perfect, it likely is closer to the opposite; it's more likely to be a death trap for greenbacks. But enough lead-in, the reason that all of us are here and now reading these words is simple; this security is misunderstood and vastly overvalued at it's current price of $5.21 at the open today....
