The top risks identified in the 2009 survey were:
• economic downturn (82% of respondents);
• borrower defaults (47%);
• pressures in funding markets (32%);
• tight credit conditions (26%);
• regulatory and accounting changes (26%); and
• sovereign risk (26%).
