Bullish Calls:

Allos Therapeutics (ALTH): "We have said this is a good spec name. Like so many biotechs, this has exploded up. Is this the right level to do it? No, but this is the best of the spec names."

Toronto Dominion (TD): "Is one of the best-run banks...the yield is good. They didn't get in trouble unlike many of the Canadian banks. They didn't screw up. Even though it is at its 52 week high, I still like Toronto Dominion."

Alcoa (AA): "Alcoa seems undervalued compared to the other mineral companies. It hasn't been well-run, but I think its time has come. You can do worse than Alcoa...I will bless it up to $20."

Tellabs (TLAB): "Everything tells me things are smoking at this company...the fundamentals here are terrific. I like Tellabs and I would hang onto it."

Alaska Communications Systems Group (ALSK): "The yield is safe...it's got a 10% yield, but I think it is safe. I have liked the stock for many, many years."

Citigroup (C): "I do like the team run in Citigroup...the stock took a licking and kept on ticking...I think it trades to 90 percent of book value, I don't care if the government is a seller or not, I believe in Vikram Pandit, I believe in Citi and I think you should buy it."
