It is ironic to write about a company that is so loose with the facts that it even misrepresents the date of its founding. In 1905, the company was a one room shop founded by an immigrant. Over many years which included sales and mergers slowly, the company expanded its business to a contractor that also sold its own product line to small regional women's stores. The name originated at the time of a sale mid century. The Company you know didn't exist until the early 2000s. Management has said it recreated the Company then. You will learn that misrepresentation may be one of the Company's most valuable assets.
