Texas Capital Bancshares (TCBI) has been benefiting from a very strong and growing Texas economy that, in addition to great management, has helped grow the bank's tangible book value by 22.4% in the last 52 weeks. The bank pays no dividend and because so may not be attractive for anyone chasing a high payout but, considering the returns the bank regularly turns in, it's hard to argue that shareholders would be better served by paying out any asset that could be used to grow the business.
