Priced For Perfection, Proto Labs May Be On The Verge Of A Growth Scare

I have followed Proto Labs Inc. (NYSE:PRLB) since its February 2012 IPO and have written a couple of Seeking Alpha articles (found here and here). Since going public at a (raised at the last minute) price of $16 per share about 18 months ago, shares of PRLB have ridden a wave of 3D printing (an area in which PRLB has no play and is arguably at risk from) euphoria with shares now trading hands (often from the hands of insiders to the public) around $67.60 per share. That's a 4X in a little over 18 months.
