A Short-Term Lease REIT In A Rising Rate Market, That's CubeSmart

One of the favorite REIT performers in my SALSA portfolio (featured in my newsletter) is Extra Space Self Storage (NYSE:EXR). The Salt Lake City-based REIT has returned over 16% year-to-date and an over 413% since the company went public around nine years ago.
