Hewlett-Packard (HPQ): Cramer suggests taking advantage of the HPQ's spying scandal as a chance to buy this stock cheap and he is confident about the company's recovery since it reported a "blowout" quarter and CEO Mark Hurd is "doing a great job."
AIG (AIG): Although Cramer's sources say that charges against former chief Hank Greenberg are being dropped, New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer is "going full bore against so-called sham transactions" with which Greenberg was involved. Cramer suggests paying attention to the stock instead of saying Spitzer "is a huge loser."
Northeast Utilities (NU) and Nucor (NUE): Cramer says that he's taking a look at utilities as investors avoid cyclicals as demonstrated by the huge selloff of NUE. "I am interested in buying some kooky stuff here," he said.
Hershey (HSY) and Apple (AAPL): HSY is a buy according to Cramer because criticism can't get any more harsh, and he likes Apple because it is leading the tech sector.
