A pretty staggering depiction! If you click on the "information is beautiful" link below the chart rather than on the chart, you get a much clearer view (not that you necessarily WANT a clearer view as clarity will induce anger).

If we can print money to bailout the bankers, why not print some more to grant free healthcare for all, to grant free college education, to eliminate hunger, to eliminate homelessness, etc... These are after all loftier goals than bailing out bankers, right? Why raise taxes to cover healthcare! Money grows on trees fellows, don;t you know that - what morons!

Gives an idea of our society priorities.
A more interesting chart is the "mountains out of molehills" on the same website. If this was applied to financial media instead, it would be a killer app.
