In our quest to seek and find alpha, our job is very easy when we are at the bottom of a major slump in the market indices and certain sectors have had the stuffing overly knocked out of them. It is akin to shooting fish in a barrel. However, when the equity markets are high, then we have to look to sectors and particular companies in those sectors that are currently unloved and will be the beneficiaries of rotation and a sentiment shift by investors (at least that is what we believe). I believe the energy sector and Ithaca Energy (OTCPK:IACAF) fit the bill of an unloved sector and an unloved company in that sector.... for now....
