Stocks discussed on Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! TV Program, Friday October 16.

National Oilwell Varco (NOV), Schlumberger (SLB), Chesapeake (CHK), Halliburton (HAL), Google (GOOG), Apple (AAPL)

Cramer predicts an oil rig shortage and says the news will be confirmed by Schlumberger's (SLB) earnings report on October 23. National Oilwell Varco (NOV), which builds rigs, should get more clients as demand increases. Natural gas also looks like it will get stronger; Cramer thinks Chesapeake (CHK) will see a lift and Halliburton (HAL) will enjoy "multiple years" of good earnings.

Cramer says Google (GOOG) is a "monster good story"; it has replaced Apple (AAPL) as "the one stock mutual fund managers must show they own."
