Analyst Views

Roth Capital thinks Informatica is enjoying a positive inflection in its business and should handily beat consensus. Roth's checks have been very positive both on the quarter's start and close. The firm is estimating Q3 revenue at $121M, license revenue of $48M, services revenue of $73M, and fully-diluted non-GAAP EPS of 21c. Roth Capital envisions upside versus their above-consensus estimates. Looking forward: Roth estimates Q4 revenue of $137M, nearly $2M above consensus of $135.5M, and non-GAAP EPS of 27c, in-line with consensus. For FY10, Roth estimates revenue of $544M, well above consensus of $536.92M, and non-GAAP EPS of 98c versus consensus of 96c.

Note: not all analyst estimates yet incorporate contribution from the company's Q3 acquisition of AgentLogic. On the conference call: investors will look for details of any forward guidance, commentary on Informatica's big-deal dependence and strong competition from Intel (INTC), and prospects for stronger future competition from Microsoft (MSFT). Informatica has also been the subject of takeover speculation, investors will be keen to hear management's stance on a buy-out, consolidation in the space.
