The third-quarter GDP report comes out on Thursday and it might not be completely horrible. In fact, it could be quite good.
Here's a look at the real annualized GDP growth rate for the trailing eight years.

Man, George W. Bush does not look good here.

Like I say, you can't blame George, he pushed all the right levers in the right direction but things still went bad.
Things are going to get even worse because Obama and the Democrats are starting to push all the levers in the wrong direction, no doubt if McCain had won and kept doing like George did we would be out of the woods by now.
