According to Forbes.com, China's Ministry of Information Industry (MII) announced it has no plans to merge China's fixed-line telecom operators with mobile ones.
The State-owned Assets Supervision and
Administration Commission (SASAC), financial backer of the six giant
telecom carriers, also said they have no definite plans for the
restructure of domestic telecom operators.
