LSI Looks Like A Compelling Buy Ahead Of A Solid 2014

It is my view that the risk/reward profile of LSI (NASDAQ:LSI-OLD), a fabless semiconductor engaged in the design and sale of storage and networking oriented semiconductors, looks highly attractive at these levels. In particular, while shares of the company have largely remained stuck in a tight range over the last several years, I believe that a number of fundamental catalysts/drivers set to kick in over the next year should drive meaningful upside to the shares. I believe that if the company can simply execute on the opportunities it currently has in front of it, shares are worth about $12 today, suggesting upside of 52% from the most recent close.
