Since I am looking for companies that exhibit outstanding operational performance and trade below intrinsic value, I have stumbled across a sector that offers quite a decent amount of nicely-priced bargains: the US community bank sector. Many stocks in this group remain unnoticed because they are often only known by locals or fetch a market capitalization of under $200 million. The lower market cap category in itself is interesting because many financial institutions and insurance companies cannot buy small-cap banks as their mandate only allows them to invest in more liquid companies with higher market capitalizations. As a result, community banks do not get the coverage they deserve. One of those banks is Chesapeake Financial Shares Inc. (OTCQB:CPKF)....
