This is an article about Troy Resources (OTC:TRYRF, but is traded by the much more liquid ticker TRY.TO on the Canadian Stock Exchange as well), a gold producer which has all its operating mines located in South America. At first sight, Troy Resources probably isn't very appealing. A flagship mine in Argentina which experiences problems transforming it from an open pit into an underground operation, a second mine closing in 2015, exercising a $37.5M debt facility indicating financial difficulties for a producer after closing a seemingly expensive acquisition, this all doesn't seem to bode well.
