Cramer's Lightning Round - United Therapeutics Is A Winner (10/2/13)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Wednesday October 2.

Bullish Calls:

United Therapeutics (NASDAQ:UTHR): "I like that. We recommended it when we first did the show, and we haven't circled back to it, and that was a mistake. You've got a winner."

Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO): "It will continue to go higher."

Kodiak Oil & Gas (NYSE:KOG): "It put itself up for sale, didn't find buyers, it took itself off sale, and it has gone up. I think it is worth $14.50."

Travelers (NYSE:TRV): Cramer prefers Travelers to Hartford Financial Services.

Advanced Micro Devices (NYSE:AMD): "I do like AMD, I just don't like that part of tech. I think it will go to $5. Sorry I gave mixed signals."

BioMarin (NASDAQ:BMRN): "It's up 52% this year. I reiterated my recommendation, and people gave me a lot of heat on Twitter, but that stock goes higher."

Bearish Calls:

Corrections Corporation of America (NYSE:CXW): "I have tried to predict the corrections business and have often failed. It is a contract business and too hard to analyze."

Hartford Financial Services (NYSE:HIG): "My trust sold HIG when we thought it was extended. It peaked."
