Stocks discussed on Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! TV Segment, Thursday November 12.
Wal-Mart (WMT)
“Before you ever make a move on a stock,” Cramer said, “at least wait until you hear the pre-recorded conference call." The selloff in Wal-Mart (WMT) which reported a "perfect" quarter was "embarrassing," Cramer said, at least for investors who traded on false assumptions. Wal-Mart "was a great buy."
Ernst & Young Chairman and CEO Jim Turley cited Babson College research data proving that 6 million U.S. Jobs would be created if female entrepreneurs received the same support as their male counterparts. While gender discrimination in the U.S. is not as severe as in other countries, Turley insisted that more capital needs to be given to women who head companies; "The more women are empowered, the better the GDP is."
Cramer agreed and added there aren't enough female chief executives "It shouldn't be news anymore when there is a woman CEO."
