Werner Enterprises Joins the Special Dividend Party

Werner Enterprises (WERN), the Nebraska-based trucking firm, announced it will pay a special dividend of $1.25 a share in addition to its regular quarterly dividend of 5 cents a share. The $90 million special payout will be made on December 8 to shareholders of record on November 23. Werner paid a special dividend of $2.10 a share in December 2008. Shares of Werner Enterprises are up 5% in the past three months.
