There is something that has puzzled me lately because it has happened twice thus far. I call it the "lucky charm puzzle". I have written three articles (out of one hundred total) related to three South American E&P firms during the last 12 months. Two of these firms were acquired with a significant premium just a couple of months after my articles were syndicated. The third company has not been acquired yet, but the timeframe of 2-3 months has not expired yet. Are my articles "the lucky charm" for these companies?
