Cramer's Lightning Round - Aeropostale's Song Has Ended (12/3/09)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money, Wednesday December 3.

Bullish Calls:

Marathon (NYSE:MRO): "Marathon's the best oil company in the country right now. It's got a good accidental 3% yield. It's got that big Garyville refinery that's going to be opened. It's going to be the most popular refinery in the country. This is the most undervalued oil company by about 50%. I want you to buy some... I want you to buy some now."

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL): "Google's going to $700! Alright, listen to these numbers... Google literally... Google has about 3% of the ad market. I mean, there's like a $180 billion ad market. They have, like, none of it, compared to what they're going to have. I think Google's ad share could double, and double again. I want you to buy Amazon and I want you to buy Apple. All three fit my Tsunami thesis."

Ciena (NASDAQ:CIEN): "Yes! This stock has been footballed... it's been kicked around... they tossed it everywhere. People just hate this stock. It's a mistake. This is going to have a big quarter... buy, buy, buy... and a big year... and I want to take advantage of all the "hoopla" around this Nortel acquisition.'

J.M Smucker Company (NYSE:SJM), Warner Chilcott (NASDAQ:WCRX): "Smuckers is so good! I am not kidding. This company made an acquisition... it was such a, like, it reminds me by the way of Warner Chilcott another one I told you to buy... These are both great! Warner Chilcott continues to be good, Smucker's is great."

Bearish Calls:

Aeropostale (NYSE:ARO): "Sometimes you get these unbelievable stocks, and they've just been meteors... they've been like 10,000 fireflies... and then, boom! Like the song ends... and that song has ended... and I want to move on... sell, sell, sell."

KeyCorp (NYSE:KEY): " I can't recommend the stock. I don't think it's going to do anything, Rocky. I think it's just going to kind of sit there. It's basically like a .400 club... one of these companies that wins four games and loses six. It's not going to be in the playoffs anytime soon."
