Silicon Motion (NASDAQ:SIMO) is a dirt-cheap, small cap semiconductor name that principally develops RF transceivers for wireless communication devices as well as flash storage controllers for mobile devices. This is a name that has been beaten down significantly from its early-2012 peak of $22/share. While the company has been making significant inroads in its storage controller business, its wireless transceiver business has been under significant pressure.
