Global Equity Returns, 3Q'06: Eastern Europe, Latin America Lead the Way

We have highlighted equity market returns on the map below at the end of each quarter.

The third quarter saw more green than usual, as 83% of the countries analyzed were up for the quarter. The greatest gains came in Eastern Europe, Mexico and the northern part of South America while only four countries saw declines of more than 10% -- Barbados, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Bahrain.
