Zargon is a Canadian Oil and Gas Junior trading on the Toronto exchange and also OTC in the United States with the ticker (OTCPK:ZARFF). The company was founded in 1992, expanded during 1994 to 2007 and then converted to an energy trust in 2004 to take advantage of favorable tax treatment (which was then rescinded by the Canadian Government in the "Halloween Massacre" of 2006).
Current production for Zargon (Q2 numbers) is 7,392 Boe/d, with 4,930 bbl/d of that oil (67% of production) and 14.77 mmcf/d gas. The percentage of production deriving from oil will increase, as Zargon focuses capex on additional oil exploitation drilling and their enhanced oil recovery program.
