Cramer's Lightning Round - Gilead Is The One To Buy (11/8/13)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Friday November 8.

Bullish Calls:

Gilead (NASDAQ:GILD): "This is the one to buy. Did you see the turn? It has good news in the pipeline about Hepatitis C."

Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (NYSE:BBVA): Cramer prefers BBVA to Banco Santander.

Verizon (NYSE:VZ): "You don't need an uptrend. They are making that acquisition. It is going to be very additive. I believe in its management. It is a great, safe stock and can boost the dividend."

American Electric Power (NYSE:AEP): "It could raise the dividend. It is caught in a difficult situation, because it is coal-based and the government hates coal, but they are doing their best and can go higher.

Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI): "That was not a great quarter. People are selling. That is a mistake. Be a buyer. I like the management."

Bearish Calls:

Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG): "I wish it weren't up so much, because that increases the risk dramatically. I want to see it come in."

Banco Santander (NYSE:SAN): "It is good, but it has made too many bad moves. BBVA is better."

Potash (NYSE:POT): "I can't believe how much corn we are producing. That will depress the price of corn and depress the price of fertilizer. Sell Potash."

LeapFrog (NYSE:LF): "It is way too risky. There is no good investment there."
