China Internet search company plans IPO

Baidu.com, China's largest web search engine in which Google (ticker: GOOG) holds a stake, is preparing a public offering in the US. Though the company controls nearly half of China's web search market, it faces competition from Google's China search engine and three different Yahoo search services.
