Bullish calls:
International Securities Exchange (ISE): 'Talk about an 'up' stock. One thing we know... derivative options are on fire ... What a great way to start the lightning round. Two thumbs up, way up.'
Garmin (GRMN): ' ... is the stock that will not quit. This is a global positioning company...wait until it comes down, and then pull the trigger. Right now, I want to take a little off the table, cause I feel like I'm a hog, and we know that hogs get slaughtered, but let the rest run. GPS is here to stay.'
Walgreen (WAG): 'WAG, I think, has suffered enough at the hands of WMT's alleged $4 generic thing. I think WAG is right. Now, be aware, I am against the staples right now - I'm sticking with WAG, but I do like RAD more...'
Rite Aid (RAD): ' ... I do like RAD more [than WAG], because of the speculative nature of RAD'
The Children's Place (PLCE): 'This is a stock that I have nailed that thing nine ways to Sunday. I can't believe it.'
Sears Holdings (SHLD)
Lowe's (LOW)
Immucor (BLUD): 'I want you to hold the BLUD, because I was blown away by how good the medical instrument/medical equipment business did for GE. And I think that BLUD looks a lot like that, because they do blood re-agent work.'
Johnson Controls (JCI): 'It's reiterated it's buy the other day. This is the only way to play auto equipment, other than Lear (LEA), which is a speculative one. This is the non-speculative one, because they have a great climate control business. I want to own the stock; I think it goes higher.'
Toyota (TM): 'You know that I am the single biggest backer of TM in America! I think this is going back to its 52-week high; I think it's going to $124. I want you to hold onto it.'
Bearish calls:
Daktronics (DAKT)
Home Depot (HD)
Checkpoint Systems (CKP): ' ... all of these companies that I would describe as being labeling companies that have solutions for different checkouts; source tagging; RFID... You're not going to get me to play that game. I am worried about those companies. Sell, sell, sell! I don't think there is just pricing pressure... stay away.'
Intermec (IN)
Avanir Pharma (AVNR): 'I kind of bit off more than I could chew in this one ... I think in this one you should ring the register.'
Rambus (RMBS): 'Don't stick with it.'
