Bullish calls:
News Corp (NWS): 'That's an ocean of pleasure! Upgraded today. This stock is breaking out. You and I are holding onto NWS, and it's going higher!'
Aircastle (AYR): ' ... this one comes, and what do the insiders do? ... They're buying it hand over fist, and you should too, even though it's a point from its high ... the leasing game in aircraft is just one fantastic business, and they own it.'
Lowe's (LOW): 'I think LOW is the cheapest.'
J.C. Penney (JCP): 'Why not go with best of breeds? Why not go with KSS, JCP, or LOW.'
Kohl's (KSS)
Intel (INTC)
Crocs (CROX): '52-week high today. I sense the bears starting to take one right in the jugular. It's going to get ugly. CROX is $39, going higher. Just introduced a whole new college line. CROX is basically for me!'
BHP Billiton (BHP): 'There's a lot to be liked about BHP. Titanium is great. Gold is great. Nickel is great. Copper is great. BHP is cheap. I'm going to endorse it here. I do like copper as the best of that complex.'
RealNetworks (RNWK): 'It's finally moving up. Rob Glaser is finally out of the doghouse. I am endorsing it, even up at $11. He's got a business model that works.'
Bearish calls:
Western Union (WU): 'We did that one - we expressed that last week, and I'm whipping that one.'
Sprint Nextel (S): 'That management team cannot fix it, which is why they will get a bid. So aren't I pounding the table? Why aren't I saying buy, buy, buy ... we do not recommend stocks on a basis of takeover if the fundamentals are deteriorating..'
Wet Seal (WTSLA): 'Now, the comeback is here, but the multiple is too high. Why not go with best of breeds?'
Nvidia (NVDA): 'Don't buy, don't buy' until it gets back to $30. I'm a little afraid of that run it's had.'
Flextronics International (FLEX): 'I cannot endorse FLEX at a 52-week high. I am telling you to sell that.'
UnitedHealth Group (UNH): 'Why did you do that, why did you do that Dr. McGuire? How much money do you really need in life?'
