Bullish calls:
ASV Inc. (ASVI): 'ASVI gets a big thumbs up - two thumbs up.'
Bare Escentuals (BARE): 'This is a GS deal that I have liked, ever since it came public in September. Two thumbs up.'
Du Pont (DD): 'I would rather see you in DD [than DOW].'
Oracle (ORCL): ' ... go right into ORCL. That's right - ORCL. Going higher!'
Merck (MRK): 'MRK may be the most 'up' stock in the DOW. What a monster quarter; what a great pipeline; forget the litigation. Two thumbs up, way up. MRK. That one is just on a short road to $50!'
SAIC (SAI): 'This was a hot deal. I recommended this... It is right now at $17.81, up 58 cents today. It's high was $18.89, and it is going back to its high. I want you in SAI!'
DivX (DIVX): ' ... we are up just a huge amount from where we recommended this stock on my show, but I am not backing away.'
Akamai Technologies (AKAM)
Apple (AAPL): ' ... go buy AAPL ... getting to $100. That's the one.'
Under Armour (UARM): 'Not only is trend your friend, but this brand turns out to be much bigger than I thought it would be. UARM, I think, has a great quarter, great future.'
Mattel (MAT): 'As I told the guys last week, c'mon man, going to $25, and that's where it's going.'
BB&T (BBT): 'I happen to like BBT, because of that nice dividend...'
Wells Fargo (WFC): ' ... but I am not going to even put it [BBT] in the same league as WFC.'
Bearish calls:
Occidental Petroleum (OXY): 'You know, I liked it for a long time. I owned it for my charitable trust; I had a huge gain and, you know what? I had the good horse sense to sell it.'
Dow Chemical (DOW): 'Dow has historically made plastic in this country, and they need it in China.'
CommVault Systems (CVLT): 'This is one of these data management software companies. There are like a gazillion of them.'
Broadcom (BRCM): 'Dive to $25, and then 'mon-back, but not until then. Sell, sell, sell!'
Sony (SNE): 'I cannot bless SNE. I think there are so many better stocks in the world than that one.'
