This week will see Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke speak no less than three times, with a full-court press nearly every day of the week from other Fed representatives as well.

Janet Yellen, president of the San Francisco Federal Reserve, will speak today at 10:30 a.m. ET at the University of San Diego.

Bernanke will testify before the House Financial Services Committee at 11 a.m. ET. The subject of the meeting concerns the prospect for employment growth, which will raise the issue of the need for a second stimulus.

Tomorrow and Wednesday Bernanke will speak at the Semiannual Monetary Policy Report to Congress, often referred to as Humphrey-Hawkins testimony.
