While it has not happened often in recent years, Amazon (AMZN) is currently trading up $4.75, or 14.12%, in after hours trading on beating profit expectations.
One time this did happen, however, was after the company's July 2005 earnings report. As shown, the stock continued higher and higher throughout the following trading day as well.
