Results of phone sex study could benefit Playboy (PLA) and New Frontier Media (NOOF)

A recent study on the mobile phone pornography market could have positive implications for Playboy Enterprises (ticker: PLA) and New Frontier Media (ticker: NOOF).

The study, performed by research group Strategy Analytics, forecasted that dollars spent on mobile phone pornography will increase from $400 million in 2004 to $5 billion in 2010.

Quick comment:  One obvious beneficiary of this trend is Playboy Enterprises (ticker: PLA).  A lesser known beneficiary is New Frontier Media (ticker: NOOF).  NOOF recently signed a 5-year agreement with Brickhouse Mobile to develop x-rated content for mobile phones.
