American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO) is expected to report Q4 earnings before the market open on Wednesday, March 10 with a conference call scheduled for 9 am ET.
Analysts are looking for a profit of 33c on revenue of $964.65M. The consensus range is 30c-35c for EPS, and revenue of $885M-$990.31M, according to First Call. The company recently reported that January same-store sales increased 18% and February SSS rose 6%, both higher than expected. In February, the retailer raised its Q4 EPS guidance to 32c-33c from 30c-32c, and reaffirmed this higher EPS view in March. Previously, American Eagle raised its view to 30c-32c from 29c-32c.
Wells Fargo recently upgraded shares of the teen retailer to Outperform from Market Perform. The firm believes February comps could be a positive catalyst for the stock and says the positive momentum should continue into the spring.
