We were recently informed about the passing of one of our contributors Dr. Eugene Narrett. Dr. Narrett wrote under the pseudonym Emmet Kodesh, which means holy truth in Hebrew. Dr. Narrett had been contributing to Seeking Alpha for nearly a year when he passed away. He died on the night of December 6, 2013 in Brattleboro, Vermont.

Dr. Narrett joined Seeking Alpha as a contributor in December 2012 with an initial article titled "A Time To Pause And Look Ahead: Precious Metals, Emerging Markets And The Macro Situation" and continued to write 124 articles in just under a year. Dr. Narrett's insight and commentary will be missed by all on Seeking Alpha. His last article on Seeking Alpha was published the day before he passed away.

We on the Seeking Alpha editorial team were shocked and saddened by Eugene's untimely passing, and send our condolences to Eugene's family.

Dr. Narrett is survived by his son, Gabriel Narrett and four younger brothers, David, Zachary, Seth and Matthew.
