Cramer's Lightning Round - 2 Ways The Times Can Win (1/7/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Tuesday January 7.

Bullish Calls:

New York Times (NYSE:NYT): "We recommended this stock at 9 bucks. There are two ways they can win; if the paid site does well or if Mayor Bloomberg buys them, NYT could go higher. I would take some profits if you bought it at $9 when I said to."

McKesson (NYSE:MCK): "You have to hold it. I want you to own this. My one regret was not pulling the trigger on this one."

Plains All American Pipeline (NYSE:PAA): "That is fine. I like the stock."

Cummins (NYSE:CMI): "I think it could get hit when it reports. I like CMI as a play on global economic recovery. I like Cummins, but I can understand anyone who wants to take a little schnitzel (i.e. take some profits)."

Bearish Calls:

Alpha Natural Resources (ANR): "It can lose you a lot of money. I don't like coal. Coal is not okay."
