Cramer's Stop Trading! The New Emerging Markets Play (3/18/10)

Includes: DD, GLW
by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! TV Segment, Thursday March 18.

DuPont (NYSE:DD), Corning (NYSE:GLW)

Cramer has changed his tune on DuPont (DD) following its strong showing at the UBS 1:1 Chemicals Conference. He is not so concerned about the company's housing exposure or patent expiration problems, and now sees DuPont as an emerging markets play with "tremendous earnings power."

While Corning (GLW) hasn't done much lately, Cramer thinks the stock is on the way up because it will benefit from the 3-D trend. Even without 3-D televisions, it has been "stronger than people have thought" because of consistently rising demand for PCs and TVs. Cramer thinks GLW is "worth a second look."
