Bullish Calls
Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB), Regions Financial (RF), PNC Financial (PNC), BB&T (BBT), Huntington Bancshares (HBAN), Zions Bancorp (ZION), Comerica (CMA): "I like Fifth Third! Ever since Goldman recommended it, which was under $10 I believe… I continue to think that Fifth Third… wow, almost $14 today… Regions Financial, PNC Financial, BB&T, Huntington Bank, and yes, Zions Bancorp are all buys… and I like them very much… let me throw in Comerica… That's like a seven, that is like seven tickets for one…"
Wynn Resorts (WYNN): "If you are going to speculate on a casino company, the best one is Wynn Resorts … there is a lockdown in China... they are not going to add any more casinos… Wynn is the best one, that is the one to buy."
Owens Corning (OC): "They make the composite materials that go into trying to conserve energy… that is a very big theme for the government… so Owens Corning is going to be an up stock during this period… don’t forget, they also make composite blades for windmills… this is a winning stock… I do not want to be out of it."
MetroPCS Communications (PCS): "Excellent, MetroPCS, we recommended it on a spec… this is the prepaid card, I still believe in it… now, remember when we do specs, it is very, very difficult… but I do think that when this one gets up to $9, $10... again, ring the register... "
Ancestry.com (ACOM): "We like that stock. Why?... Because it has a market that is subscription… any dot-com that has consistent subscription revenue is a winner… so we came out with Ancestry.com… people love it, it is also a baby boomer play…"
JP Morgan (JPM): "The stock acted terribly today… I was quite surprised, all of the other banks were on the move… it is the best of breed… I want you to stick with it… I remain bullish about JPMorgan."
DuPont (DD): "I think that person, CEO Ellen Coleman, is doing such a monster good job… Ellen, Ms. Coleman, I beg you to come on the show."
Halliburton (HAL): "Let me give you a Jeffersonian answer, okay? I think that stock is created equal to a lot of other drilling companies."
Bearish Calls
MGM (MGM), Las Vegas Sands (LVS): "MGM does not have the best balance sheet, nor does Las Vegas Sands … but it is an up stock… I have earlier said in the show that travel leisure is coming back... now, here is what you need to know… if you are going to speculate on a casino company, the best one is Wynn Resorts … there is a lockdown in China... they are not going to add any more casinos… Wynn is the best one, that is the one to buy."
China Agritech (CAGC): "I am a seller of all of the Chinese stocks… that market is just fighting the tape… China, sell, sell, sell…"
