Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Thursday November 2. Click on a stock ticker for more analysis:
Oracle (NYSE:ORCL): ' ... is going to come down tomorrow off of CA, and then you snap some up.'
Federated Department Stores (FD): 'I think they did a miraculous [Filenes] changeover... The stock had great same-store sales; it had 3-5% gains. And yet the stock didn't rally. That tells me that there are sellers eager to get out of it. I think - if I were you - I'd hold onto it, but I wouldn't buy FD until it went under $40.'
J.C. Penney (NYSE:JCP): 'How about how great JCP was though? You know that's been our favorite - Myron Ullman has turned that company around. He, JCP - America's best retailer! And not for just venetian blinds anymore!'
Rite Aid (NYSE:RAD): 'Hey, the stock was up today, RAD... Despite the fact that CVS was down. I love that woman that was on the show - Mary Sammons... She was so good. I am two thumbs up with her. That stock's going to $5.'
Arena Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ARNA): 'If you remember, I called the person who downgraded it an out-and-out communist.
It is not a three-week play, or a three-month play. It is a play on anti-obesity and anti-diabetes. They've got two - read them - two drugs ... You have got to do a 'mon-back on ARNA on that ridiculous downgrade!'
Lundin Mining (LMC): 'LMC is your play for mining ... It's got zinc; it's got copper; it's got mojo!'
Norfolk Southern (NYSE:NSC): 'Like NSC. Beautiful quarter. The stock's been on a real tear since that monster quarter. '
CSX (NASDAQ:CSX):'I am still going to defer to my friend, Michael Ward, who runs CSX. I think he's a genuine railroad man; I'll let him drive my locomotive anytime.'

Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT): 'WMT's best days are over. And it really is something that there's absolutely no pin action; WMT reports a bad number, it doesn't matter.'
Sina (NASDAQ:SINA): 'My thinking here is that SINA, like BIDU, like TOMO, these are all too hard for me. And, you know what? If they're too hard for me, they're going to be too hard for you. I want you to stay away from Chinese internet plays. They just don't work.'
Tom Online (NASDAQ:TOMO):
Wind River Systems (WIND): '... this is consulting software - I have always been wary of that. Witness the fact that CA - the old Computer Associates - also reported a problematic number today. I think, if you want to be in software, forget consulting software, and be in ORCL.'
CKX (NASDAQ:CKXE): 'This is a company that does entertainment content ... Silverman[CEO] - I think he is not a money maker for others; I think he's just a money maker for himself ... You are going sell CKXE. Get the message, and get out!'
Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR): 'No, we're sellers. Absolutely. Sell, sell, sell! It's overvalued.'
North American Palladium (NYSEMKT:PAL): Platinum mining is a good business. I don't want to own that stock.
Aluminum Corp. of China (NYSE:ACH)
