Cramer's Lightning Round - JPMorgan Is a Monster on the Midway (4/15/10)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday April 15.

Bullish Calls:

JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM): "JPMorgan is a Monster on the Midway."

SandRidge Energy (NYSE:SD): "Everybody is hating this because of the acquisition… everybody is hating it… I say pile in.. if I want to buy a stock down at $7, which is a high quality stock like that…I am getting bullish not bearish."

Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA): "I want you to stick with NVIDIA… it has got proprietary technology… I recommended it because everyone had given up on it in the lower teens… I think that it is a buy… do not get dissuaded because the stock has not moved… it is stuck in the mud… when it gets unstuck, I say… all aboard."

Ormat Technologies (NYSE:ORA): "Absolutely, one of my favorites… every single alternative energy play got hammered… now why would that be? Why would they all go down? … I think because a lot of people recognized that they need government subsidies in order to be worthwhile… but Ormat does not… I think that Ormat is an interesting play down here… I think that Ormat has come down enough that this geothermal play is a good stock to buy."

Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.B): "This is a new Berkshire Hathaway, frankly… this is a Berkshire Hathaway partially, if not more leaning toward the rails… I think Berkshire is a buy, no I think Berkshire is a strong buy…"

Cenovus Energy (NYSE:CVE), EnCana (NYSE:ECA): "I totally agree with you… I thought both parts of EnCana Corp. were good, I have only recommended the ECA kind… but this company is bringing up value… both pieces are worth a lot of money… I think that you have horse sense to keep them both... I want to continue to tell you to keep them both... I am not changing my view."

Bristol Myers (NYSE:BMY): "Bristol-Myers has now pulled back about 8%… it does have a very high yield… if I recommend Bristol-Myers that it could still go $24... so you know what I am going to do? At $24 is where I will tell you to buy it… and not a penny more."

Bearish Calls

American Express (NYSE:AXP): "I am a little uncomfortable up here at $46, at $41, $42, and in the $30’s I was all over it… but you know what? At this point we need a pullback in American Express… it is literally up too much on a spike… I love credit cards… that is why I am sticking with… so my take is, American Express, not up here."

Goodyear Tire and Rubber (NYSE:GT): "It is very hard for me because the run that it has had is so monumental that I feel like I have missed it."

Foster Wheeler (FWLT): "Foster Wheeler is the worst stock in an improving neighborhood of infrastructure… FWLT, I cannot recommend it... there are so many other engineering and construction company names that are doing much better."
