Miriam Metzinger submits: Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Monday November 6. Click on a stock ticker for more analysis:
Cisco (CSCO): ' ... go into the CSCO. Yes! Even up here.'
Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX) 'This VRTX - of all of the guys who are involved with hepatitus C, this VRTX is absolutely, way ahead of the game ... Two thumbs up, way up.
SunPower (SPWR): 'I think you'll get a lot of good hoopla tomorrow, and I want you to sell Wednesday into the democratic house triumph. They will not take the senate.'
Time Warner (TWX): 'If you want an Icaan play ... go into TWX. Because he's [CEO, Parsons'] going to take you to $24.'
Corning (GLW): If you want a fiber optic play ... I am going to send you in a very contrarian way to GLW, which is so out of favor that I like it.'
MasterCard (MA): 'I cannot believe the run it's had. It's a gigantic short squeeze. I recommended the stock at $40. I re-recommended it at $60. And, at $100 - only at $100 - will I say ring the register, because the rest is going to $110. I want you to stay with MA. There will be a secondary.'
Syntax-Brillian (BRLC): 'BRLC is not brilliant. This is another one of these high-def plays that everybody wants to get behind. We've had a nice move in that.'
Dynamic Materials (BOOM): 'I did not like that quarter! ... Ring the register, and buy that sucker lower. BOOM missed.'
Aircastle (AYR): 'AYR a little dangerous versus RYAAY.'
ImClone Systems (IMCL): 'Icaan's running the thing. If you want an Icaan play, swap out of that and go into TWX ... IMCL could take you to $24 too, but that would be in the wrong direction.'
General Cable (BGC)
Amylin Pharmaceuticals (AMLN): 'No. I would tell you that I think the stock is in a flatline here. Why? Because it's made a big move, and it's digesting that move.'
Superior Energy Services (SPN): 'This is an oil field services play that has not come down nearly enough. That's cause it grows at 30% and sells at 13x.'
Garmin (GRMN): 'Very tough ... I didn't like that quarter. I didn't like the explanation for the aerospace decline/slowdown. I did like the fact that Forbes recommended their product in today's issue, but I need to do more digging. I think GRMN's too expensive.'
