An interesting poll on CNBC, where 41% voted that Goldman Sachs (GS) did nothing wrong, which I think is a pretty high number considering there is so much propaganda against GS.

ACA and IKB, the two buyers of the CDO, GS sold, claimed to be sophisticated CDO investors. ACA and IKB didn't do their due diligence and were completely responsible for their losses. (Knowing whether Paulson was going long or shorting the CDOs doesnt make a difference. If an investor changes his position considering who is taking the other side, then the investor is putting more faith in the counterparty than his own analysis).
