Cramer's Lightning Round - Wake Up and Sell the Coffee (4/29/10)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday April 29.

Bullish Calls:

Energy Transfer Partners (NYSE:ETP), Kinder Morgan Partners (NYSE:KMP), Copano Energy (NASDAQ:CPNO): "Energy Transfer Partners, oh man, that is really good … still got a higher yield than Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, not as good as KMP, but absolutely a trigger puller… you have got a good one… those MLPs are something… do not forget the Copano Energy LLC… By the way, just so we are clear… because some people were questioning, I am not telling people to sell KMP… I just say that it has moved up a lot… that is all I am saying… I got a lot of email about that and I am not telling people to sell it."

Hudson City Bancorp (NASDAQ:HCBK): "I give a green light, now I am going to be very careful... I am going to be very, very circumspect here in that this one does not have the mojo that I think you will get once we get that clarity from Washington that I am predicting."

JP Morgan (NYSE:JPM): "Now that is a good one."

Emergency Medical Services (NYSE:EMS): "I think that you hold onto that, I think that that is the kind of thing that you want to buy in this healthcare world… that stock is near its high… but I think that it goes higher… I also, by the way, let me just say… drug stocks bottomed, bottomed yesterday… I am a buyer of all the drug stocks… that is a new position for me."

Dow Chemical (NYSE:DOW): "I remain a solid buyer at the $31 level of Dow Chemical."

Bearish Calls:

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ:GMCR): "That is a very expensive stock and we did not get the upside… and I have been very perturbed about it… I have been trying to get a line about whether this is the bottom… I am not willing to declare the bottom… once a momentum stock is broken it tends to stay broken… and this one looks real broken… let’s wait until I find a level that I am more comfortable with it… it just met the numbers… it did not blow them away… when you are that expensive you have got to blow them away…"

Dean Foods (NYSE:DF): "Oh man, come on, that is just a bearish stock… we cannot get there… that dairy business is just way too hard… it is one of the few stocks that I am saying is in an absolute bear market mode… looks like slow death there... Sell, sell, sell!..."
