Stocks discussed on Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! TV Segment, Tuesday May 4.

Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT), 3M (NYSE:MMM), Costco (NASDAQ:COST), Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT), General Mills (NYSE:GIS), Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), Inergy (NRGY), Duke (NYSE:DUK), Perrigo (NYSE:PRGO), Treehouse Foods (NYSE:THS), DR Horton (NYSE:DHI), Nike (NYSE:NKE)

With the Dow losing over 200 points, those looking for short-term trades should buy safety stocks as investors flee industrials like Caterpillar (CAT) and 3M (MMM) for food and drug stocks like General Mills (GIS), Merck (NYSE:MRK) and Pfizer (PFE). Utilities are also good, and Cramer likes Inergy (NRGY), and Duke (DUK), in spite of the latter's exposure to coal. Perrigo (PRGO) and Treehouse Foods (THS) are also buys in this environment as well as DR Horton (DHI), an "amazing" housing play. Cramer expects positive results from Nike's (NKE) analyst meeting and thinks the shoe company is a great play on China.
